I have known Yakubu Chonoko Maikyau for quite some time and he has distinguished himself in all ramifications.
He has also proven that the standard already established by the Olumide Akpata-led EXCO can be maintained and further built upon.
YC Maikyau is the only candidate who has the interest of the members of the Nigerian Bar Association at heart and this he has proven, via his position as the Chairman of the NBA Welfare Committee.
Every branch of the NBA would attest to the role YC Maikyau has played in terms of the Health Insurance policy he has piloted for the Bar and this is highly unprecedented.
I have closely watched the antecedents of all the three candidates for the Bar President and also, I have looked at the level of respect each of them have for members of the Bar and I am convinced that YC Maikyau is most qualified for leadership of the Bar.
It is in view of this that I urge every young lawyer to vote for YC Maikyau as the president of the Nigerian Bar Association as he is the most qualified for the job.
A vote for YC Maikyau SAN is a vote for #ADynamicBar.
