As a firm advocate of women’s right, the pioneer of the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) in Gombe State & the focal person in gender based violence against women and children (GBV) it is my vehement concern that whoever is elected the captain of the NBA, be one who is veraciously passionate about the rights of women & will through affirmative action ensure our inclusiveness in key decision making in the NBA.
Having punctiliously scrutinized all candidates, Y.C’s emergence instills me with euphoric hope of an egalitarian and an all inclusive NBA where women will be unfettered & given an opportunity to thrive. Y.C’s administration aims at giving a big push to a constellation of NBA women & ensuring that we are granted a full voice and equal opportunities.
He has demonstrated through his life, work, & years of advocating for Women’s right that he is committed to breaking the glass ceiling & paving a definitive path for women to become a formidable force to reckon with in the NBA. YC believes that when a woman is obliged a role in leadership & allowed to participate in decision making, she brings something unique, special & of high quality to the NBA’s biggest projects.
