Y.C. Maikyau SAN Commiserates With The Friends, Colleagues And Family Of Late Sir John U. Elem Esq

Today I received with sadness the news of the demise of our dear learned friend, SIR JOHN U. ELEM, Esq, who died on 12/2/2022 after a brief battle with ill-health.

Sir Elem was a calm, respectful and responsible gentleman. He was a brilliant attorney who rose through the ranks to became a Principal State Counsel through hard work and committed service. He will surely be missed by all who knew him.

While I join his family, friends and colleagues, particularly the members of NBA Omoku Branch, to mourn Sir Elem, I urge everyone to take comfort in God’s promise of the resurrection – we will see Sir Elem again, when this life is over.

May the Lord grant us all, particularly the members of his immediate family, the fortitude to bear this great loss.
