Update On Medical Outreach By The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) And Kebbi State Government

Dear Esteemed Colleagues,

We are excited to share the latest advancements regarding the forthcoming medical outreach designed exclusively for lawyers and their families. Y. C Maikyau, OON, SAN, the President of the Nigerian Bar Association, has generously provided deeper insights into the extensive scope of this initiative. Collaborating with the Kebbi State Government, this effort is under the dedicated guidance of Chief Emeka Ozoani, SAN, Chairman of the National Welfare Committee. The program now includes the following key components:

1. *Widened Patient Criteria:* We are taking a significant step by extending our medical assistance to individuals previously excluded due to ovarian cyst diagnoses. It is our pleasure to announce that all patients with such cases are now eligible for surgery and encouraged to participate actively.

2. *Holistic Eye Care Services:* During the Annual General Conference, legal professionals have the opportunity to receive complimentary comprehensive eye checks, incorporating dilation and other vital ophthalmic procedures.

3. *Eyewear Provision:* Furthermore, those in need will receive eyeglasses to ensure that individuals seeking corrective eyewear have their visual requirements met effectively.

4. *Limited-Time Opportunity:* We stress the importance of early participation, as these benefits are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please make the most of this offer while supplies last.

5. *Dates and Venue:* The medical outreach is scheduled to commence on Monday, August 28th, 2023, at the NBA House. The program will kick off promptly at 8:00 AM.

As you prepare to attend the Annual General Conference of The Nigerian Bar Association, Chief Emeka Ozoani, SAN, Chairman of the National Welfare Committee, extends his wishes for your safe arrival.

With warm regards,

Henry Barnabas Ehi, MICA
