Unity Bar Law Week 2021: Pictures As Members Embark On Health Walk/ Win Friendly Match

Members of the Nigerian Bar Association, Abuja branch (Unity Bar) have today Saturday 28th August, 2021 embarked on a Health Walk, which is part of the activities to mark this year’s branch law week.

The walk was led by the indefatigable Chairman of the Unity Bar, Dr Hauwa Shekarau; senior lawyers Y. C. Maikyau, SAN, Mela Audu Nunghi SAN, immediate past Chairman of the Unity Bar, Abimbola Kayode, members of the Executive Committee, Prince Adebiyi Adesotoye, Ikemefuna Onyeka, 2021 Law Week Planning Committee Chairman Steve Emelieze, Afam Okeke, Amauche Onyedum, senior lawyers like Y. C. Maikyau, SAN, Commissioner for Lands, Gombe State, Chidi Udekwe and many others.

After the Health Walk, there was a friendly football match between the Unity Bar Football Club and Supreme Court of Nigeria Football Club. The match ended in a 3-1 score in favour of Unity Bar FC.

Elated by this victory, the immediate past chairman of the branch, Mr Abimbola Kayode donated three footballs to the Unity Bar Football Club, according to a statement by the Unity Bar PRO, Ikemefuna Onyeka.
