Unity Bar Law Week 2021 Day 2: See Full Itinerary Of Events
After an exciting opening ceremony of the 2021 NBA Unity Bar Law Week, participants have been advised to make it a date at Day 2 of the event.
A statement by the Publicity Secretary of the branch, Mr Ikemefuna Onyeka, reveals that the morning and afternoon sessions are free for all participants.
There would be one plenary session in the morning with the topic: Understanding the Tax Obligation of Legal Practitioners. The session would be chaired by the Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association Welfare Committee, Yakubu Chonoko Maikyau, S.A.N. with the under-listed as speakers and panelists:

- Dayo Adedeji Esq. (Private Legal Practitioner)
- Dr Kennedy Iwundu (Tax Consultant)
- Ruth Zikachat Kaburuk-Badung (NIPOST)
- Awele Lauretta Ikobi-Anyali (NIALS)
After the question and answer session, the official opening of the NBA Abuja Branch (Unity Bar) office at Flat 2, Block 12, FCDA Quarters, Kashim Ibrahim Way, off Aminu Kano Crescent, Wuse 2, Abuja will take place as led by the branch chairman, Dr Hauwa Shekarau.
The Chairman of the Law Week Planning Committee, Mr Steve Emelieze, in announcing the Dinner ending the week’s events, said that it would double as a Cultural Night. Members are expected to appear colourfully dressed in their native attire and come fully prepared for a time of music, comedy, good food, wine and dance. He promised that it would be a fun galore.

Note that all payments must be made on or before 8:30am on the 31st August, 2021 and there is no provision for payment at the venue. Any payment made after 8:30am would not be honoured and the payment will be refunded at a later date by the branch.
