The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Abuja Branch (Unity Bar) in collaboration with International Federation of Women Lawyers(FIDA) and Institute of Chartered Mediators & Conciliators(ICMC) invites members and the general public to a Night of Tributes in honour of late Dr. Hauwa Evelyn Shekarau, who until her death was the Chairman of NBA Abuja Branch (Unity Bar).
A statement by the Publicity Secretary of the branch, Ikemefuna Onyeka reveals details of the event as follows:
Date: Tuesday 28th September, 2021
Time: 4:00pm prompt
Venue: National Christian Centre, (Ecumenical), Central Business District, Abuja.
Members and the general public are encouraged to come and pay their last respects to the late chairman with their presence at the event.
Dr Shekarau’s sad and painful death occurred on the 15th of September, 2021 and was announced in a statement signed by the Secretary of the branch, Prince Adebiyi Adetosoye.
Please note that COVID-19 Protocols will be strictly enforced at the Night of tributes.
