Chinasa Unaegbunam, Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), has been appointed to the Advisory Board of The Hague Court of Arbitration for Aviation (HCAA). The announcement was made in an official statement by The Hague Court of Arbitration for Aviation, unveiling a diverse 40-member Advisory Board comprised of renowned global experts in aviation law, mediation, and arbitration. Unaegbunam joins an esteemed group of professionals, including Claire McDermott, Mary Walker, and Wade Thomson, who will provide strategic counsel to the HCAA in promoting arbitration and mediation as preferred methods for resolving contractual disputes within the aviation industry.
A statement by Mr. Tunde Moshood, Special Adviser on Media and Communications to the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr. Festus Keyamo, described Unaegbunam’s appointment as a testament to her unparalleled expertise and dedication to aviation law.
