A UK-based lawyer and businessman, Ladi Adebayo, announced plans to invest over €5.84 million in Osun State by the end of this year. He aims to boost local businesses and create new jobs.

Adebayo attended a meeting with Osun Governor Ademola Adeleke and UK Prime Minister’s Envoy representatives. He praised the discussions and said they opened his eyes to economic opportunities in Osun. “I will invest over €5.84 million in Osun to stimulate business growth and create jobs,” Adebayo declared.

The lawyer stressed that his consortium will deploy funds to support various sectors, including farming and information technology. He noted that Osun State’s government has implemented proactive strategies to attract both local and international investments. “Our discussions highlighted tremendous opportunities for economic growth and development in Osun,” he said.

Adebayo, a practicing lawyer with extensive business interests, hails from Iperindo in Osun State. He employs over 30 people in the region. His investment plan aims to help transform Osun’s economic landscape and improve livelihoods across the state. The consortium will support initiatives that boost trade, improve infrastructure, and promote innovation.

Local business leaders welcomed the news. “This is a major win for Osun. A large investment like this can catalyse progress,” said one industry representative. Adebayo also mentioned that his consortium will work closely with local authorities to ensure transparency and accountability.

The planned investment comes at a crucial time. Osun State faces challenges in creating sustainable growth. The new funds will support projects that address these challenges and spur job creation. Adebayo urged other investors to consider Osun’s potential. “We want to build a brighter future for Osun and its people,” he said.

The lawyer reiterated his commitment to driving economic development in Osun. His investment is expected to set a benchmark for future initiatives in the region, fostering long-term growth and innovation. The project promises significant positive change for Osun’s economy and local communities.
