Tinubu Appoints Former Katsina Governor Masari As TETFund Chairman

President Bola Tinubu has appointed Aminu Masari, the former governor of Katsina State, as the chairman of the board of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund).
Alongside Masari, other newly appointed members of the board include Senator Sani Danladi, Mr. Sunday Adepoju, Mr. Nurudeen Adeyemi, Mrs. Esther Onyinyechukwu Ukachukwu, Mr. Turaki Ibrahim, and Mr. Aboh Eduyok.
Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity), issued a statement on Tuesday confirming the appointments. The statement emphasized that President Tinubu expects the new board members to be dedicated and committed to advancing TETFund’s mission. Their primary objective is to provide essential support to tertiary education, aiming to enhance the productivity and quality of higher education in Nigeria.
