Law Officers Association, Nasarawa State Endorses Mazi Afam Osigwe For NBA President

The Law Officers Association of the Nasarawa State Ministry of Justice has officially endorsed Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN, as their preferred candidate for the upcoming Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) presidential election. This decision was made during a meeting held on Thursday, July 18, 2024, in the office of the Honorable Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, where members deliberated on critical issues affecting the legal profession.

After thorough consideration, the association unanimously adopted Afam Osigwe, SAN, highlighting his unwavering commitment to the advancement of the legal profession and his exceptional leadership qualities. These qualities, they believe, align with the values and aspirations of the Law Officers Association, Nasarawa State Ministry of Justice.

A statement signed by the Chairman of association, Nicholas Abundaga stated “We believe that Afam Osigwe, SAN, possesses the requisite experience, competence, and vision needed to steer the Nigerian Bar Association towards greater heights and to champion the interests of legal practitioners across the country,” the association stated.

As representatives of the legal community in Nasarawa State, the association expressed their solidarity with Afam Osigwe, SAN, and pledged their full support for his candidacy in the forthcoming NBA election.
