The Nigerian Senate has started the screening of President Bola Tinubu’s 10 Resident Electoral Commissioner nominees for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), according to Vanguard.
Those to be screened include Mr Etekarnba Umoren (Akwa Ibom), Mr Isah Shaka Ehimeakne (Edo), and Mrs Oluwatoyin Babalola (Ekiti).
Others include Mr Abubakar Ahmed Ma’ali (Gombe) and Mr Shehu Wahab (Kwara) among others.
