As we celebrate the 65th Independence Anniversary of our great nation, I honour the sacrifices of our national heroes and heroines. Let us uphold true independence by promoting the ideals of a truly independent nation and championing independence of the Judiciary, freedom of speech, rule of law and good governance.
May I use this opportunity to renew my call for the release of Chinedu Agu, Esq. and Bright E. Ngene, Esq.
I also celebrate and rejoice for the safe release of Peace Onyesom Udoka, Esq. from the kidnappers den.
I urge our security agencies to enhance protection of lives and properties of Nigerians.
