The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has scheduled its National Executive Council (NEC) meeting for May 15, 2025, in Ilorin, Kwara State. NBA General Secretary, Dr. Mobolaji Ojibara, confirmed the details in an official notice sent to NEC members.
The meeting will take place at the Banquet Hall, Ahmadu Bello Way, Ilorin, starting at 9:00 a.m. The agenda includes a review of the last NEC meeting, the President’s speech, reports from the national secretariat, and discussions on the state of the nation.
Only NEC members, including national officers, past NBA presidents, past general secretaries, branch chairmen, branch secretaries, and heads of NBA sections, fora, and committees, may attend. Co-opted NEC members and pre-registered observers will also participate.
Ojibara announced that the meeting will be hybrid, allowing members to join virtually. The NBA will circulate the NEC Bundles and Secretariat Reports to members before the meeting. He encouraged members to contact the Bar Services Department for inquiries or the Welfare Secretary for hotel reservations.
The NBA’s NEC meeting in Ilorin is expected to address key issues affecting the legal profession and national affairs.
