BREAKING: Court Intervenes In Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s Senate Probe

In a dramatic turn of events, a court has issued an interim order blocking the Senate Ethics Committee from proceeding with its investigation into Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan. This move comes at a critical moment when the committee was poised to convene and potentially impose an indefinite suspension on the senator.

The court’s intervention effectively halts the committee’s proceedings, pending further review. This development adds a new layer of complexity to the ongoing saga involving Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan, who has been at the center of controversy following a seating arrangement dispute and allegations against the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio. The Senate had referred her to the Ethics Committee for disciplinary review, but the court’s order now puts these proceedings on hold.
