It was friendship and merriment at the Surulere Lawyers Forum meeting of 18th May, 2022 as the entourage of Y.C. Maikyau joined the forum to participate in its meeting. The venue of the meeting was filled to capacity and members had to stand in and around the venue due to the large turnout.
Maikyau in his characteristic charisma impressed and delighted the members of the forum in a frank discussion about the future of the forum, the bar and our dear country Nigeria. He praised the leadership of the forum on its remarkable feat of galvanizing its members towards the set ambition of becoming a branch, he also espoused the virtues of the Forum as one known for its stand in upholding the core values of the profession. He remarked that Integrity is the hallmark of a lawyer and the major foundation upon which a successful practice, association or forum is built.
In response, the leadership of the forum thanked Maikyau, SAN for his strides and wished him well in his endeavours.
