Sunusi Musa Appointed IPCR Chairman, NBA President Hails Appointment

The President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN, has congratulated Sunusi Musa, SAN, on his recent appointment. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu appointed Musa as the Chairman of the Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution (IPCR).
In a public message, Osigwe described Musa’s appointment as well-deserved and timely. He stated that the appointment reflects national recognition of Musa’s intellect and public service track record. Osigwe expressed confidence in Musa’s ability to guide the agency in strengthening peace and promoting national unity.
“The NBA is proud and confident that you will bring wisdom, balance, and strategic leadership to the IPCR in advancing the cause of peace and unity across our country,” Osigwe said.
Osigwe emphasized that Musa is known for his intellect, integrity, and commitment to national development. He expressed optimism that these qualities would contribute to the institute’s success in delivering on its mandate.
The Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution plays a critical role in mediating conflict and promoting national cohesion. Osigwe urged the government to continue appointing competent professionals to key institutions like the IPCR.
Sunusi Musa, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, has served in several public roles over the years. Osigwe ended his message with best wishes for Musa’s success as Chairman of the IPCR.
