Despite several pleas from Nigerians to warn and release the skit maker, Abdullahi Adisa, popularly known as Trinity Guy, the Nigerian Police Force has held him in custody till Monday, to be charged to court.
It would be recalled that after the statement by the Police Force inviting him, Trinity Guy reported himself at Oyo Police Command, Eleyele, on Friday, but he was directed to report to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID).
But, to the amazement of his admirers, despite the fact that the parents of the minor in question followed him to the Police station to explain their consent in the viral video, it was gathered that both the skit maker, Trinity Guy and minor’s parents, were detained on Friday.
According to Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the skit maker, Abdullahi Adisa, popularly known as Trinity Guy, would be charged to court on Monday for sexualising a female minor in a trending video clip.
Adejobi stated this in a post on his Twitter page while responding to a tweet who asked that the prankster be warned and released.
The tweet #Zpaulee, said, “You guys should release him and warn him not to try that again, it’s just a prank.”
