Rivers State High Court Announces Date For Easter Break

In a recent announcement, the Chief Judge of Rivers State, Justice Simeon Chibuzor-Amadi, has declared that the State High Court will embark on an Easter vacation from Thursday, March 28th, 2024, to April 12th, 2024.
Justice Chibuzor-Amadi made it clear that this decision adheres strictly to the guidelines outlined in Order 49, Rule 4b of the High Court Civil Procedure Rules.
Despite the vacation period, Justice Chibuzor-Amadi assured the public that urgent matters and applications will not be neglected. He stated that a designated ‘vacation judge’ will be readily available to address any pressing legal issues that may arise during this time.
The official statement, released by David Ihua-Maduenyi, the Chief Registrar of the Rivers State High Court, underscored that regular court activities will resume promptly on Monday, April 15th, 2024.
