Rivers Police Arrest Pastor For Alleged Homosexuality

The Rivers State Police Command has arrested a pastor, identified as Elijah, over allegations of homosexuality.
Police took Elijah, the General Overseer of a new-generation church in Port Harcourt, into custody after a male acquaintance named Patrick leaked explicit videos of him engaging in same-sex acts.
Sources revealed that Patrick, who had reportedly been a target of the pastor’s advances, pretended to comply and secretly recorded the videos as evidence.
“We are unsure how the Octopus Strike Force of the Rivers State Police Command obtained the footage, but they launched an investigation and began tracking the pastor. Eventually, based on credible intelligence, officers traced him to one of his usual hangouts and arrested him,” a source disclosed.
During interrogation, the cleric allegedly admitted to engaging in similar activities with both adults and minors within and outside Port Harcourt.
SP Grace Iringe-Koko, the spokesperson for the Rivers State Police Command, confirmed the arrest and stated that authorities had already arraigned the suspect.
“Yes, I can confirm the pastor’s arrest. He is in custody, and investigations are ongoing. In fact, he has already been charged to court,” she said.
