Prof. Ichie U. U. Chukwumaeze, SAN Hosts Yakubu Chonoko (Y. C) Maikyau SAN And Entourage In Owerri

Prof. Ichie U. U. Chukwumaeze,SAN, the Acting Vice Chancellor of Imo State University hosted Mr. Yakubu Chonoko (Y. C.) Maikyau, SAN at his home in Owerri on Sunday, 1 May 2022.

Y. C. Maikyau who had attended the Owerri Branch meeting the previous day, was warmly welcomed in grand style by the erudite Professor of Criminal Law and his pretty wife.

On Mr. Maikyau’s entourage were Mazi Afam J. Osigwe, SAN, Past General Secretary of the NBA; Soipriye Long Williams, Past Governor of the Eastern Bar Forum (EBF); Chinaecherem Nwaubani, Secretary, NBA Enugu Branch; Jamil Isiaka Jamil, Member NBA Welfare Committee and YLF Chairman, NBA Okehi Branch; Kelechi D. Ogbonna; Nwabueze Obasi-Obi and Dan Odiba.

Members of the Owerri Branch that were present were Mr Stanley Imo, past Chairman Owerri Branch and past 1st Vice President of the NBA; D. O. Nosike, Past Chairman Owerri Branch; Ishmael Nkwocha, past Secretary NBA Owerri Branch, and past Deputy Governor of Eastern Bar Forum (EBF); Associate Prof. C. K Okorie; Chief Isaac Nwosu, past Assistant Secretary, NBA Anaocha Branch; Dr. Emma Osuji; Chiemezie Nnawuchi; Nobert Agbodike, Esq; Dr. G. O. C. Ihebom and a host of others.

It was an atmosphere of conviviality that morning as they wined, dined and rubbed minds together.

The learned Silk and his entourage appreciated the learned Professor of law and his beloved wife for their hospitality.
