Presidential Election: Supreme Court Allows Live Judgment Coverage
The Supreme Court has given its approval for live transmission of the judgment of the February 2023 presidential election petitions. Heavily armed security guards surround the area surrounding the Supreme Court and the surrounding roadways.
The petition against President Bola Tinubu filed by Mr Peter Obi and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar was pending a decision by Justice Inyang Okoro and six other members of the Supreme Court. Uwani Abaji, Lawal Garba, Ibrahim Saulawa, Adamu Jauro, Tijani Abubakar, and Emma Agim are the other justices on the seven-member panel.
