Past NBA National Officers Celebrate Former President Augustine Alegeh, SAN At 60

 

The National Officers of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) from 2014 to 2016 have expressed their heartfelt congratulations to their former President, Augustine A. Alegeh, SAN, CON, as he marks his 60th birthday.

In a celebratory message, the officers described Alegeh as an icon and pillar of the legal profession, praising his legendary status and significant contributions to the Nigerian legal community. “A true legend and a shining star in the legal firmament,” they declared, emphasizing the profound impact of his leadership on the NBA and the nation as a whole.

Reflecting on Alegeh’s six decades of life, the officers noted that his years have only refined his wisdom, kindness, and generosity. They highlighted the remarkable achievements of the NBA under his tenure as the 27th President, during which the association experienced transformative growth and modernization.

“You are truly the father of the Modern Nigerian Bar!” the statement read, acknowledging Alegeh’s pivotal role in shaping the future of the NBA. The officers expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to have served under his leadership and celebrated his legacy as a treasure, blessing, and inspiration.
