Otu Oka-Iwu Congratulates CP Peter Opara On Promotion And Deployment To Delta State
The Otu Oka-Iwu, Abuja, has extended its heartfelt congratulations to one of its distinguished members, CP Peter Opara, on his recent promotion to the rank of Commissioner of Police. The legal association also commended his brief tenure as Commissioner of Police for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Command and celebrated his redeployment to head the Delta State Command.
In a congratulatory message signed by its President, Chidi Udekwe, the association expressed confidence in CP Opara’s leadership, legal expertise, and dedication, noting that his qualities make him well-suited to lead the Delta State Police Command.

Otu Oka-Iwu further urged the Inspector-General of Police to ensure a swift handover between CP Opara and the outgoing Commissioner, now redeployed to Rivers State. According to the statement, a timely transition is vital to enable CP Opara to assume his duties without delay.
