Otu Oka-Iwu Abuja Mourns Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu

Otu Oka-iwu Abuja extends heartfelt condolences to the family of Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, the Igbo community, and Nigeria as a whole on the passing of the esteemed leader.

Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, known as “Ahaejiagamba,” served as the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication. He was an astute leader, erudite scholar, researcher, media entrepreneur, sports enthusiast, financier, business mogul, and philanthropist. His contributions significantly advanced education, healthcare, and infrastructure development, positively impacting countless lives. Chief Iwuanyanwu was also a staunch advocate against injustice.

His death leaves a substantial void, especially given his pivotal role in the socio-economic development of the Igbo Nation. Otu Oka-iwu Abuja urges South-East governors, state assembly members, federal representatives, senators, and the succeeding President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo to uphold and further Chief Iwuanyanwu’s vision for economic integration and development.

May his soul rest in peace.

Chief Chidi Udekwe
President, Otu Oka-iwu Abuja
