One Year After: NBA Unity Bar, Bereaved Family Remember Late Hauwa Shekarau
*Family releases details of one year remembrance Thanksgiving
Members of the Nigerian Bar Association, Abuja Branch (Unity Bar) have taken to social media today as they remembered their late former Chairman, Hauwa Shekarau who passed away on Wednesday, 15th September, 2021.
Shekarau, who died of an undisclosed ailment last year was until her death, the sitting Chairman of the branch and was fondly remembered today, after the erstwhile Secretary of the branch, Prince Adebiyi Adetosoye posted a video in her memory on the branch’s official Whatsapp platform. Members sent in prayers for the peaceful repose of her soul, and comfort for the family and friends she left behind.
In a related development, the late Shekarau’s family in a notice signed by Felix Ayuba Luka, has invited the public to the one year Memorial Thanksgiving Service in honour of late Dr Barr Hauwa Evelyn Shekarau, with details as follows:
