The Ogun State House of Assembly has intervened in the ongoing land dispute between Bluestone Garden City, a real estate firm with stakes held by Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo, and Arc-View Investment Limited, led by its CEO, Segun Oshundairo.

At a meeting on Tuesday, the Assembly engaged with the legal representatives of Bluestone Garden City, Chief Abolade Fasanu (SAN) and Barrister Dapo Opakunle, alongside the management of Arc-View Investment Limited to mediate the dispute.

The meeting, convened by the House Committees on Lands and Housing, Justice, Ethics, and Public Petitions, was chaired by Hon. Damilola Soneye. Lawmakers sought to resolve the contractual disagreements between the two firms through alternative dispute resolution.

According to the Committee, the Assembly’s priority is ensuring security and peaceful coexistence, emphasizing the need to prevent any potential breach of public order.

Barrister Opakunle, representing Bluestone Garden City, provided a timeline of the dispute and highlighted previous unsuccessful attempts to reach an agreement with Arc-View, which ultimately led to legal action.

On the other hand, Arc-View CEO Segun Oshundairo, who had petitioned the Assembly, apologized to Pastor Ashimolowo and the Bluestone Garden City team. He acknowledged that the delays in resolving the issue had caused distress to subscribers of his estate.

Both parties have agreed to work towards an amicable settlement and are expected to report back to the Assembly on March 27, 2025, with a final resolution.
