NBA AGC 2025: Conference Committee Extends Grand Welcome To Delegates

The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has extended a grand welcome to delegates attending the 2025 Annual General Conference in Enugu.

The NBA-AGC Planning Committee, led by Chief Akajiugo Emeka Obegolu, SAN, assured participants of a historic and transformative gathering. This year’s theme, “Stand Out, Stand Tall,” highlights the Association’s resolve to inspire excellence, innovation, and resilience among members. The committee stated that the conference would bring together lawyers, thought leaders, and experts from across Nigeria and the international community.

Under the leadership of NBA President Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN, the 2025 AGC promises a blend of learning and networking. Organisers emphasised that delegates will experience robust discussions, professional growth opportunities, and memorable cultural exchanges during the conference week.

Acknowledging the work of the Planning Committee, the NBA praised their dedication, vision, and creativity in preparing for this landmark event. Their efforts, according to officials, ensure a seamless experience and reflect the inclusive spirit of the conference theme.

The NBA noted that the welcome extended to conferees demonstrates the Association’s tradition of hospitality, unity, and commitment to professional development. As thousands of lawyers converge in Enugu, members are encouraged to maximise opportunities, deepen networks, and contribute to shaping the Association’s future.

The week-long conference will feature plenary sessions, breakout discussions, social events, and the Annual General Meeting. It remains the most significant annual gathering of Nigerian lawyers, attracting attention from policymakers, judges, and the global legal community.

In his message, Chief Obegolu urged delegates to embrace the moment, participate fully, and help write another inspiring chapter for the NBA. He reaffirmed that the welcome extended to conferees symbolises unity and the Association’s enduring tradition of excellence.
