NILA Congratulates Prof. Roland Otaru On Appointment As Edo Attorney General

The Nigerian Immigration Lawyers Association (NILA) has congratulated Prof. Roland Otaru, SAN, on his appointment as the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Edo State.

In a message dated October 14, 2025, and addressed to Prof. Otaru, the association described his appointment as a well-deserved recognition of his outstanding expertise, dedication, and contributions to the legal profession.

NILA noted that as a distinguished Fellow and Trustee of the association, Prof. Otaru’s elevation reflects his years of professional excellence and commitment to justice. The association expressed confidence that his leadership will strengthen the justice system in Edo State and further promote the rule of law.

“We are particularly proud to see your achievements recognized and celebrated in this manner,” the message read. “Your expertise, integrity, and passion for justice will no doubt guide your actions and decisions in office.”

The association also pledged its full support and collaboration with Prof. Otaru in the discharge of his new duties, noting that his appointment is a source of pride to the entire NILA family.
