Governor Bassey Otu, Others Condole Calabar Lawyer Enamhe Over Brother’s Passing

The Governor of Cross River State, Sen. (Prince) Bassey Edet Otu, along with several officials and dignitaries, has conveyed heartfelt condolences to legal practitioner, Dr. Dorn Claimz Enamhe following the demise of his brother, Mr. Peter Enamhe.
Among those who expressed their sympathies are the Deputy Governor of Cross River State, Rt. Hon. Peter Odey; former Governor of the state, HE Chief Clement Ebri; Minister of Sports Development, Hon. John Owan Enoh; Senator representing Cross River North Senatorial District, Dist. Sen. Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe; and Members of the House of Representatives, Obudu/Bekwarra/Obanliku Federal Constituency, Hon. Chief Peter Akpanke and Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency, Hon. Godwin Ofiono.
In a condolence message dated February 5, 2024, Governor Otu extended his sincere sympathies to Dr. Enamhe and his family, acknowledging the passing of Mr. Emeka Peter Enamhe on January 25, 2024. The governor praised the late Mr. Peter Enamhe as a sociable individual who cherished friendship, family bonds, and exemplified devout Christian values. He urged the Enamhe family, particularly Mr. Peter Enamhe’s wife, Blessing, and their children Dominic, Theresa, Peter, and Paul, to find solace in the promise of reunion with loved ones on Resurrection Morning.
Similarly, in his condolence message, Deputy Governor Peter Odey expressed shock and sorrow over the passing of Mr. Peter Enamhe. He empathized with Dr. Enamhe’s family, acknowledging the profound pain of losing a loved one. Deputy Governor Odey emphasized the importance of faith during such challenging times, urging Dr. Enamhe and his siblings to draw strength from their belief in God’s wisdom and sovereignty. There will be a vigil night service for the late Mr Peter Enamhe on the 8th of February, 2024 in his hometown in Gakem, Bekwarra LGA of Cross River State, while the burial ceremonies will take place on the 9th of February, 2024.
