Nigeria Police Set April 12 For Constable Training

 

The Police Service Commission (PSC) and Nigeria Police Force (NPF) will begin training for successful 2025 constable recruits on April 12.

PSC spokesperson Ikechukwu Ani announced the date in a statement on Sunday, urging candidates to check their training status online.

Candidates who completed the medical screening between February 26 and March 12 must log on to https://apply.policerecruitment.gov.ng. In order to verify their application status and print their training call-up slips. The recruitment portal opens on Monday, March 31, 2025.

The police directed all successful candidates to report to their assigned training facilities on the specified date and time. Training documentation will run from April 12 to April 19. Candidates who fail to report within this period will forfeit their recruitment opportunity.

The statement advised candidates to arrive in a clean white T-shirt and shorts, bringing the required documents for verification.

PSC Chairman, retired DIG Hashimu Argungu, congratulated the selected candidates and urged them to remain dedicated to President Bola Tinubu’s vision of a well-equipped and professional police force.

He emphasized that the training program would prepare recruits to safeguard lives, protect property, and uphold national security. The police assured the public of a transparent and effective training process to strengthen law enforcement in Nigeria.
