Fire Guts Students’ Hostel At Nigerian Law School, Kano Campus

A devastating fire broke out on Wednesday night at the Nigerian Law School, Kano Campus, destroying a student hostel and leaving several students with significant losses just two weeks before their final bar examinations.
According to reports, the fire completely razed the hostel building, consuming students’ personal belongings, including clothes, credentials, and electronic devices like laptops.
Fortunately, no casualties were recorded, as both students and staff were evacuated safely. However, the fire has left many students distressed, particularly those who lost crucial study materials ahead of their exams.
Following the incident, the Nigerian Law School Muslim Students (Kano Campus) released a statement confirming the scale of destruction. The group revealed that many affected students lost everything, except for the clothes they were wearing at the time.
