New York Court Allows Anonymous Rape Accuser To Proceed Against Jay-Z and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs

A New York federal judge has permitted a woman, identified as “Jane Doe,” to proceed anonymously in her lawsuit against Jay-Z and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, whom she accuses of raping her at age 13. Judge Analisa Torres ruled that anonymity would be allowed at this stage but may require disclosure later for trial preparation.

Judge Torres criticized Jay-Z’s lawyer, Alex Spiro, for using “combative motions” and “inflammatory language,” calling it a waste of judicial resources. Combs also faces separate sex trafficking and assault charges.
