Preparations for the 2022 Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Unity Branch Elections have reached the climax with the “closing of submission of nomination forms” on Friday.
NBA Unity Bar Chairman, Moses A. Ebute, SAN disclosed this during the monthly general meeting of the branch on Friday 6th May, 2022 in Abuja.
Ebute said that, “the screening exercise will commence on Monday, the 9th day of May 2022.”
“The chairman of the electoral committee of the branch has assured me and the EXCO that this year’s election shall be free, fair, credible and most reliable,” he said.
He added that “the relative peace and progress that the branch has been enjoying in the last five years will be determined by the conduct of members in the forth coming elections of the branch.”
Ebute thereafter pledged to ensure that the election and all its processes are free and fair and every eligible candidate is given a level playing ground.
