NBA Schedules Pre-Conference NEC Meeting Ahead Of 2025 Annual General Conference

The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has scheduled its Pre-Conference National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting for Saturday, August 23, 2025, in Enugu.
According to the Association, the NEC meeting will begin at 3:00 p.m. at the Multipurpose Hall, International Conference Centre. The meeting is a key activity leading to the 2025 Annual General Conference, which promises to be a landmark gathering.
NBA Assistant General Secretary, Henry Barnabas Ehi, confirmed the schedule in a statement issued to members on Tuesday. He explained that the session would focus on vital issues affecting the profession and preparations for the upcoming conference.
Ehi reminded members that the notice applies strictly to NEC members, who are expected to attend the meeting punctually and responsibly. He noted that for inclusivity, a Zoom link will be circulated via email to members who prefer to participate virtually.
The NEC meeting will serve as a forum for deliberation, strategy, and coordination before the Association’s largest annual professional gathering begins. It is an opportunity to assess the Association’s progress and reaffirm its vision under the leadership of Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN.
The NBA emphasised that the NEC meeting is critical to ensuring a smooth and successful conference, with all members urged to participate fully. By convening ahead of the AGC, the leadership hopes to promote transparency, unity, and strong representation for Nigerian lawyers.
