NBA Releases Gazetted Copy Of 2023 Remuneration Order

 

The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has officially published the Gazetted copy of the Remuneration Order 2023. It sets standardised fees for legal services to enhance transparency, fairness, and professionalism within the legal profession.

Announcing the release, Emeka Obegolu, SAN, Chairman of the NBA Remuneration Committee, shared the document with legal practitioners and stakeholders. He urged them to update their records accordingly. The Remuneration Order 2023 serves as a comprehensive guide for legal practitioners. This ensures ethical billing practices while protecting clients from arbitrary fees. It reflects the NBA’s commitment to standardizing legal practice and fostering accountability in the profession.

The NBA encourages all legal professionals to review the document and align their billing practices with its provisions.
