NBA President, Akpata Resolves To Honour Late NBA Abuja Branch Chairman
The President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Mr Olumide Akpata has assured the family of the late Dr Hauwa Shekarau and the Abuja branch of the association (Unity Bar) which she chaired until her passing, of his resolve to honour the late chairman.
Akpata stated this when he paid a condolence visit to the family of late Dr. Hauwa Shekarau Thursday, whose sad demise happened on the 15th of September, 2021.
A statement by the Publicity Secretary of the Unity Bar, Mr Ikemefuna Onyeka revealed that among the people that the NBA President met at the late chairman’s house were her family members, sympathizers and some of the Executive Committee members of the branch which included Chioma Onyenucheya-Uko (Vice Chairman), Prince Adebiyi Adesotoye (Secretary), Ikemefuna Onyeka (Publicity Secretary) and Chidi Ezenwafor (immediate past Secretary), amongst others.
