NBA Owerri Branch Congratulates Mazi Afam Josiah Osigwe, SAN On Election As NBA President-Elect
The Owerri Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), known as the Heartland Bar, has extended its heartfelt congratulations to Mazi Afam Josiah Osigwe, SAN [Life Bencher], on his election as the 32nd President-Elect of the Nigerian Bar Association, the largest Bar in Africa.
In a congratulatory message signed by Chief Chris U. Ihentuge (Chairman) and Daniel O. Odiba, ACArb. (Secretary), on behalf of the Executive Committee and members of the branch, the Heartland Bar expressed their joy and confidence in Osigwe’s leadership.
“We write to congratulate you on your well-deserved emergence as the 32nd President-Elect of the Nigerian Bar Association [NBA], the largest Bar in Africa,” the statement read.
The message highlighted the overwhelming support Osigwe received at the polls, attributing it to the courage and confidence that members of the profession have in him. It acknowledged his dedication to the Bar and his understanding of its unique dynamics, expressing no doubt that he will significantly improve the NBA’s fortunes.
“Much has been given to you; much is required of you. We shall support you and we shall pray for you and other elected National Officers,” the message continued.
The Heartland Bar further wished Osigwe wisdom, strength, and good health to successfully deliver on the promises in his manifesto, emphasizing their commitment to supporting his leadership.

Mazi Afam Josiah Osigwe, SAN, who has been recognized for his dedication and leadership within the Bar, now prepares to take on the role of President of the Nigerian Bar Association, with the support and best wishes of his colleagues from the Owerri Branch.
