NBA National Welfare Committee Pays Visit To GM, NHIS Formal Sector Department, Dr Eke Jonathan

The National Welfare Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association, ably led by YC MAIKYAU, SAN paid an unscheduled visit to the General Manager of NHIS Formal Sector, in furtherance to the mandate of the committee.

Chief Emeka Ozoani SAN, the alternate chairman of the Welfare Committee was also in attendance, together with Auta Nyada, Nekabari Annah, Henry Barnabas Ehi and Martha Benson.

The aim of the visit was to ensure that the NHIS and the NNPC HMO processes and properly attends to NBA subscribers under the scheme .

The goal is to bring to the nearest minimum or if possible eradicate in totality the act of advertising lawyers on sick beds and soliciting for medical fees
