NBA Elections 2022: YC Maikyau, SAN Polls Massive Number Of Votes To Emerge NBA President-Elect

Foremost Nigerian lawyer, Yakubu Chonoko Maikyau, SAN has emerged winner of the just concluded and much-anticipated Nigerian Bar Association elections which ended at 11.59 pm on Saturday, the 16th of July 2022.

The Learned Silk, who polled a massive 22,000 plus votes, towered more than twice above his opponents, J. K. Gadzama, SAN who got about 10,000 votes and J. G. Taidi who scored about 1,000.

The underlisted were also elected for other positions in the election.
Lynda Rose Bala — 1st Vice President
Clement Chukwuemeka — 2nd Vice President
Amanda Asagba- 3rd Vice President
Adesina Adegbite — General Secretary
Daniel Kip. — Assistant Sec.
Caroline Ladidi Bishop — Treasurer
Akorede Habeeb Lawal — Publicity Secretary
Ajiboye Charles Olawale — Assistant Publicity Secretary
Chinyere Obasi — Welfare Secretary

Following the successful completion of the 2022 NBA Elections, the ECNBA will hold a Post-Election Stakeholders’ Briefing and Press Conference to officially announce the results of the Elections.
