NBA 2025 Conference Early Bird Registration Closes, Regular Registration Remains Open

 

The 2025 NBA Annual General Conference early bird registration closed on March 31, 2025.

Chief Emeka Obegolu, SAN, in a statement on behalf of the Planning Committee, expresses sincere gratitude and thanked members for their prompt registration. He praised members for their enthusiasm and commitment to the NBA and its flagship Conference.

The committee reported that 9,180 participants registered during the early bird period. Lawyers with 1-9 years of experience totaled 3,652. Those with 10-19 years numbered 3,549, and participants with 20 or more years numbered 1,772. The committee also recorded 176 SANs, Benchers, and Attorneys General, along with 19 Magistrates and 12 senior lawyers. This response shows strong interest from the legal community.

The committee extended the early bird deadline from February 28 to March 31 after obtaining approval from the NBA NEC. They resolved technical glitches on the registration portal, and officials confirmed that the portal now functions smoothly. The committee urged remaining members to register during the regular registration window. They stressed that early registration ensures a better experience at the Conference.

The 2025 NBA Annual General Conference will feature insightful discussions, networking sessions, and Continuing Legal Education. The event promises to enhance professional development for all participants.

The NBA plans to finalise the venue soon, as mandated by the NBA NEC. The committee assured conferees that the Conference will be memorable regardless of the location. They encourage members to complete registration on the official NBA website at www.nigerianbar.org.ng/nbaagc.

Chief Emeka Obegolu emphasised that the NBA Conference will offer opportunities to engage with distinguished speakers and top legal professionals. He urged all members to register early to avoid onsite registration delays.
