NBA Abuja Law Week 2022: The Unity Bar Has Always Been Known For Excellence- YC Maikyau, SAN
It is fait accompli that we are in the Electioneering period at both the Branch and National levels of our Association and also our nation, Nigeria.
For the Unity Bar, the theme of this year’s law week tagged, “CREDIBLE ELECTORAL PROCESS, RULE OF LAW, LEADERSHIP AND GOOD GOVERNANCE : THE WAY FORWARD” is apt and timely as it captures our lofty dreams as an Association and as a nation.
No doubt, it is one that will have a ripple effect on our dear NBA and Nigeria as a whole, as discussions in this regard will help reposition and refocus our minds towards embracing good governance anchored on credible electoral process.
I therefore commend the Leadership of the NBA Abuja Branch, ably led by Moses A. Ebute, SAN, the Executives, the Planning Committee and members of the Branch for this unique topic. I have no doubt that the theme would be dealt with exhaustively by the select calibre of speakers and panelists lined up for the various plenary discussions and sessions.
The Unity Bar has always been known for excellence, and I am certain that the Law week spanning from the 3rd to 7th of June, 2022 would be a continuum of the momentum.
I therefore wish the entire members of the NBA Abuja Branch (Unity Bar) a fruitful and very successful deliberation!
