Maikyau, SAN And Friends Arrive Makurdi For NBA Law Week 2022, Pays Courtesy Call On Benue State AG And Commissioner For Justice, Michael Gusa, Esq

The Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association Welfare Commiittee, Mr Yakubu Chonoko (YC) Maikyau, SAN and friends have arrived Makurdi for the branch’s Law Week, themed: “Democracy, Electoral Process & the Paradigm of Change in Nigeria”.

Maikyau and his team are warmly received by leaders of Benue Branch;  Mike Assoh, Past Chairman; Mercy M. Tuleh, Jude Nyam,  YLF Chairman, Aver Angweh, Emmanuel Kakwagh, Gbagyo Joseph M.,  amongst others, who led his team to the office of the Honourable Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice of Benue State, Mr Michael Gusa, Esq.

Mr. Maikyau SAN, thanked the AG for welcoming him and his team. He also appreciated the efforts of the AG in promoting the rule of law in the State. He recalled his long time relationship with Benue State and indeed many colleagues with whom he went to school and enjoys fellowship with, including the AG.

In welcoming Mr. Maikyau SAN, the Honourable AG, underscored the longevity of their relationship dating back to their student days at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He also assured Mr. Maikyau of not only the support of Makurdi Branch but also of Oturkpo and Gboko branches of the NBA.
