Libya Deports 48 Nigerian Women And Two Children

A total of 48 Nigerian women and two children have been deported from Libya back to Nigeria.
The repatriation was carried out by Libya’s Department for Combating Illegal Migration (DCIM) with the assistance of Nigeria’s consular services and the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
The group was safely returned to Nigeria through Mitiga International Airport.
Migrant Rescue Watch announced the development in a statement on X, which read: “DCIM repatriated from Tripoli with consular and IOM support 48 migrant females with 2 children of Nigerian nationality via Mitiga International Airport.”
This operation highlights ongoing efforts to facilitate the safe return of migrants to their home countries.
