Legal Education Offers Boundless Opportunities- Femi Atteh, SAN

Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) Femi Atteh has emphasised that a legal education opens limitless opportunities, describing a law degree as one of the most valuable assets anyone can acquire.
Atteh, who serves as the founder and Principal Partner of Peniel Solicitors & Advocates, made this statement during a send-forth ceremony held in Abuja for Doyinsola Aliu, who is departing the firm after four years of dedicated service.
Addressing young legal practitioners, Atteh encouraged them to gain valuable experience through practice before venturing into other areas of opportunity. He also urged Aliu to remain a strong ambassador for the firm, upholding the qualities that distinguished her during her time there.
The event was filled with heartfelt tributes from colleagues who expressed their admiration for Aliu. Stephen Abar, a counsel at the firm, noted the significant impact her departure would have.
“When I heard she was leaving, I felt bad. Her exit will create a gap too big to fill,” Abar said.
Suleiman Yakubu wished Aliu success in her future endeavours, hoping her husband would support her career growth.
Micheal Atteh encouraged her to stay focused on the ideals that defined her work, while Amina Muazu praised Aliu’s strong character and role-model qualities.
“Doyin is loved and cherished within the firm. She has a strong character and is a good role model. I wish her the best in her future endeavours,” Muazu said.
A grateful Aliu promised to remain in touch and continue mentoring younger lawyers, expressing her joy at being part of the firm and looking forward to the next chapter of her journey.
“I pray this marks the beginning of a beautiful journey,” Muazu added, encapsulating the sentiments of the event.
