Call To Duty: MULAN Abuja Branch Secretary, MOHAMMED Adama Appointed Conference Incident Investigation Committee Member By NBA President

The Secretary of the Muslim Lawyers Association of Nigeria, Abuja Branch, Hajia MOHAMMED Adama has been appointed by the President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) into the Conference Incident Investigation Committee of the Association.

You would recall that Hajia Adama was appointed to the Governing Council of the NBA Women Forum by the erstwhile President of the NBA, Olumide Akpata, on the 25th of August, 2022 and just barely 2 weeks from that day, she is being called to duty again in this newly inaugurated committee by the NBA President, Y. C. Maikyau, SAN.

In the words of a member of the MULAN, Abdullahi Muhammad Naseer, “This affirms the saying that ‘the reward of good work is more work’ and with a meticulous President like Maikyau, golden fishes like Hajia Adama would have no hiding place at the Bar. We thank the NBA President- Y. C. Maikyau, SAN.”

The Committee is to investigate and propose necessary sanctions on erring members involved in the incident that occurred on the sidelines of the just concluded 62nd Annual General Conference of the Nigerian Bar Association and propose preventive measures to forestall the reoccurrence of such shameful acts.
