Talented Lawyer Is Winner Of Nigerian Idol Show Season 8

Talented singer and lawyer, Victory Gbakara, has emerged winner of Nigerian Idol Season 8.
The Lawyer won the eighth edition of Nigeria’s favourite reality television music talent show on Sunday night.
Gbakara was announced winner at the season finale having secured more votes from viewers than runner-up, Precious Mac.
For winning the show, Gbakara won N35 million cash prize and other prizes worth millions of Naira.
The 2023 season of the show started in April and ran for 10 weeks, from April 23 to July 16, with live shows throughout.
Performances on the live show were judged by the viewers, who held the power to retain and evict contestants through their votes.
On Sunday night, the show’s conclusion featured thrilling group performances by all of the candidates and the judges. D’banj, Simi, and Obi Asika led the chorus in “Hall of Fame,” a song by the Star of Copenhagen, Switzerland released in 2014.
