Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Yakubu C. Maikyau, has stressed the need for the Judiciary and the Bar to constantly work together for the advancement of the legal profession.
Maikyau who is Chairman Welfare committee of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) made this known at the just concluded Law week of the Ikeja branch of the Nigerian Bar Association.
Law Weeks have a rich tradition of reaching out into the legal community with education programs and activities for counsel of all ages.
The theme of this year’s NBA Ikeja Law Week, “The Nigeria of Our Dreams”, reminds all of us that we the people share the responsibility to promote the rule of law, defend liberty, and pursue justice to make Nigeria a dream come true.
