Jigawa Judicial Service Commission Dismisses Three Officers, Sanctions Others For Misconduct

The Jigawa State Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has dismissed three officers and disciplined others for misconduct during its 178th meeting on January 7.
Higher Registrar Iyal Ibrahim and Principal Registrar Baffa Alhaji were terminated for illegally selling court exhibits. Chief Clerical Officer Abdu Aujara was dismissed for suppressing ₦965,000 from a litigant.
Three Shari’a Court judges were advised to resign over procedural violations, while two magistrates received warnings. The JSC emphasized its commitment to a corruption-free judiciary and professional standards.
