Governor Badaru Swears In 2 High Court Judges

Governor Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa State has presided over the swearing-in ceremony of two newly appointed state High court judges.

Speaking during the ceremony held at the conference hall of government house Dutse, Governor Badaru Abubakar charged the new judges to discharge their duties with the fear of God and in accordance with the law.

He, therefore, commended stakeholders in the state judiciary for choosing the appointees on merit.

Badaru also congratulated the judges on the appointment and prayed to Almighty Allah to guide them.

Those sworn in include Barrister Mustapha Bello Adamu and Barrister Auwal Yau Gumel.

The ceremony was attended by state Deputy Governor, Mallam Umar Namadi, Secretary to the state government, Alhaji Adamu Abdulkadir Fanini, members of the state executive council and well-wishers.
